Only a small area of Phi Phi Island was affected by last year's tsunami however Holiday Inn Resort Phi Phi Island was unaffected. The resort remains fully operational and continues to welcome guests. All accommodation, restaurants, bars and recreational areas of the resort are operating as per usual.

The township of Tonsai Bay (7kms by boat from the resort) is currently being redeveloped yet is fully accessible. Some shops, restauarants and bars are open in this area. All other areas of the island, including the popular Maya Bay, remain as beautiful as ever and are again popular destinations for snorkelling excursions.

Watersports activities, including snorkelling, diving and long-tail boat charters are available. Traditionally March, April and May are the months with the best weather and lowest rainfall, allowing for the full enjoyment of island life and associated activities. Ferry transfers continue to service the island daily from AoNang, Krabi and Phuket. Please contact our Reservations Department directly should you require assistance with the booking or confirmation of ferry or speedboat travel to the resort. We always recommend that you advise us of your arrival and departure details ie. flight number and hotel or transfer details before and after your stay with us in paradise.
