Restaurants and Bars
The award-winning restaurant and cocktail lounge offers a welcoming atmosphere and a varied selection of both fine á la carte cuisine and hearty bar meals.
The head chef has created an inspired European and English menu, using the freshest produce. Dishes range from seasonal asparagus and fruits, rosettes of salmon in coriander, to traditional meat, poultry, salad and vegetarian dishes. All ingredients are fresh from major local suppliers and where possible are non-genetically modified.

Tropical World (19 km) - The atmosphere of the tropics is recreated here as visitors walk among exotic trees. A waterfall cascades into a rock-pool and other pools contain terrapins and carp. There are reptiles, insects and more than 30 species of butterfly.

Royal Armouries Museum (16 km) - The museum is an impressive contemporary home for the renowned national collection of arms and armour. The collection is divided between five galleries: War, Tournament, Self-Defence, Hunting and Oriental.
Oakwell Hall (6 km) - A moated Elizabethan manor house, furnished as it might have looked in the 1690s. Extensive 110-acre country park with visitor information centre, period gardens, nature trails, arboretum and children's adventure playground.
Keighley & Worth Valley Railway & Museum (15 km) - The line was built mainly to serve the valley's mills, and goes through the heart of Bronte country. Beginning at Keighley (shared with Railtrack), it climbs up to Haworth, and terminates at Oxenhope, which has a storage and restoration building.
National Coal Mining Museum For England (16 km) - A unique opportunity to go 140 metres underground down one of Britain's oldest working mines, guided by an ex-miner, where models and machinery depict methods and conditions of mining from the early 1800s to the present day.
Cliffe Castle Museum & Gallery (17 km) - French furniture from the Victoria and Albert Museum is displayed, together with collections of local and natural history, ceramics, dolls, geological items and minerals. The grounds of this 19th-century mansion have a play area and an aviary.
Cartwright Hall Art Gallery (6 km) - Built in dramatic Baroque style in 1904, the gallery has permanent collections of 19th and 20th-century British art, contemporary prints, and older works by British and European masters.

Directions:
By Car:
- Leave the M62 at junction 26.
- You will approach a roundabout and will need to take the A638 to Bradford (Oakenshaw and Low Moor). Take care not to take the A638 Cleckheaton direction.
- Follow this road for approximately 3.2 km (2 miles) and turn left into Common Road.
- The hotel is on the right. There is a large car park opposite the hotel.
