The Best Western Lansdowne Hotel is privately owned and has been in the same family ownership since 1912. It is this that has given the hotel a personal touch that is still very evident today.

The hotel offers 101 well-furnished rooms, 7 of which are doubles and 2 are single-bedded superior rooms, all south facing. Additionally, there are 3 spacious superior double family rooms, all inland facing. All superior rooms are equipped with bottled water and upgraded toiletries. Please note, there are a limited number of non-smoking rooms and although the hotel tries to meet your requirements, it can not guarantee availability.
The far reaching views of the sea and Beachy Head are breathtaking.

The Congress Theatre is 100 metres from the hotel, and the Winter Gardens, Devonshire Park Theatre and grounds are just a 3 or 4 minute walk away. The theatres offer spectacular productions, backed up by 2 cinemas and entertainment on the 300 metre-long pier.
There is a wealth of picturesque villages in the surrounding areas, and Kent and Sussex boast glorious gardens, vineyards and historic homes, all waiting to be explored.
